It is strange to remember, as we soak in the 60 degree sunny day, that it's only March 4th. Annie and I decided to go for a hike after work to catch the sunset. We headed about one mile east of town and stopped at the trail head. We called it the Tower Trail because we were going to the cell tower, which give a great view of the sunset.

The trail has many inclines and a few flatter areas for a good 1.75 miles to the top. Along the way we enjoyed the rushing sound of a spring, caught the sight of a couple white tail deer, and breathed in the fresh smell of the oncoming spring. The trail was a quick work out and the descent back was enjoyable.

Though we stopped at the tower, we plan on continuing along the trail, which is actually a logging road. I took a cell phone picture of the sunset, but I'm not saavy on how to get it from my phone to my computer. So, we'll bring a camera next time.
